VETAN consists of a team of three dedicated individuals who are friends in addition to colleagues. They are all trained as nurse anesthetists, each with their own background and story. One of the partners has been working as a veterinary assistant in a large secondary referral animal clinic. At this clinic, a demand for advice arose regarding anesthesia during surgeries, especially for thoracic procedures and complex patients. This demand was handled by the team that was later named as VETAN.
